Visitors to Jackson Hole have no shortage of hiking options. Here are some of the best hikes in the area.

Paintbrush Divide
Found in Grand Teton National Park, this 19.3-mile loop is a full-day hike that takes hikers up the north-facing slopes of Paintbrush Divide, past gorgeous mountain lakes and other scenery such as the glacial Holly Lake, the Cascade Canyon, and Hidden Falls.

Death Canyon
Also found in Grand Teton National Park, this is an arduous, 16.3-mile hike that gets climbers up to 10,790 feet elevation and affords them stunning views of Jackson Hole and beyond. The trail is located in black bear and grizzly bear territory.

The Summit Trail
This is an easier option, as hikers can take the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram up Rendezvous Mountain then hike down the Summit Trail to the gondola, where they can enjoy the views and some refreshments. From there, they can either do the 1- to 2-hour hike down or take the gondola down.
